Tess Bulman received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Kent State University in Jewelry/Metals and Enameling in 2015. She began her own studio in 2012 and has been designing and creating ever since.
She starts each piece of jewelry with sheet metal and/or wire and works the metal into the desired piece. Tess uses traditional metalsmithing techniques such as hand sawing, soldering, forging, enameling and stone setting.
Tess makes her jewelry to last for generations and will stand behind its quality guarantee. She wants her pieces to become heirlooms that her customers treasure. For her, making jewelry is a personal interaction with the customer. Jewelry is an intimate item that can mean a lot to a person, she feels that being a part of that is a privilege. This is why custom orders are special to her, she has the chance to create something that means a lot to someone and is unique to that customer’s life.
